The car actually appears to have run a red light and crashed in to the truck
Shocking footage which appears to show a 'ghost car' coming from nowhere before ploughing into a truck has baffled internet users.
Filmed in the Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne, the footage uploaded to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page shows a grey Astra being spun around when it collided with a utility truck.
However viewers have been left completely perplexed by the car that seems to have appeared out of thin air.
Many commenters admitting to needing to watch the footage a number of times before they could work out what was going on.
'Where the hell did that Astra even come from? I watched the video nearly a dozen times and am still none the wiser!!!,' one person wrote.
'It's a ghost car - out of nowhere!!!', another posted.
Many users took the opportunity to warn others with grey cars that they should keep their lights on during grey and overcast days.
